Review: Don't Waste Your Money. My daughter married a man with Hispanic background. I am planning a trip to his home country this fall. I wanted something that I could listen to while driving. I bought this set to learn basic Spanish during my traveling and staying at hotels. Research this- the online course is no longer available. And you can download the material FREE at the Living Language website. Amazon should remove this.

Title: but I was very happy going through the beginning CDs

Review: Straight to the point. There are 3 sets of 3 CDs: beginning, intermediate and advanced. A little tricky to follow, but I was very happy going through the beginning CDs, though it felt like CD 2 (beginning) just cut off randomly. Now when I got to the intermediate and Advanced, they just stopped teaching. They merely repeated words and phrases for 6 CDs straight. Its like they were making a product and gave up 1/3 of the way through it.

Review: THIS IS BETTER THAN ROSETTA STONE...Ordered the product because it offers audio CDs from Essentials to Advanced along with corresponding Physical in your hand workbooks and FREE online learning access from your computer or access device. Product is sold at Barnes and Nobel at $50.and sets right next to Rosetta Stone for $250. I had previously purchased Rosetta Stone which provides no workbooks and the online access costs $14 per month or $89 per year....this after you pay a premium price for something that is no better than this product. Rosetta Stones model is to charge you a lot of money for a product that does not provide audio CDs so you can learn while driving to work..just software to load on a computer as backup...Rosetta continues to ride on the coat tails of a so yesterday novel idea without really advancing the product beyond finding ways to continue charging you for something already paid for...limits you to two computers...no customer service beyond telling you to read the instructions...Rosetta stones computer presentation and online website is nothing special either...so save yourself a lot of grief because at the end of the day YOU do all the work with these lessons..question is how much do you want to spend because no self taught course will do it for you. Order this product and do the work...

Review: I bought it for my boyfriend and he loves it. He spends a lot of time driving so he listens to it while on the road. I'm a native Spanish speaker and I find this system to be very complete. The accent is pretty neutral, very similar to me Mexico City accent. I totally recommend it; and the price is great!

Title: Perfect Spanish book for beginners

Review: Great set!! Fast shippment, light weight. This book is based on “standard Latin American Spanish”. Love that there are three levels of Spanish books and audio CDs accordingly. Each lesson has a right amount of contents. I also use their website. It’s well-organized and there are lots of activities! I am a non-Spanish speaker, and non-English speaker either. But the book is very easy to follow. Highly recommended for second language learners of Spanish.
