I have ordered.
My son grew up listening to all the amusing
stories of Dr. Seuss. Unfortunately all his
favorite books were lost in a flood.

Review: I never grew up reading Dr. Seuss but a friend bought me his space book for my baby shower and fell in love with it. I bought the first beginner book collection (along with the second). Buyer beware, some of the collections are smaller than average book size so make sure you know that before hitting the 'buy' button. These series are normal book sized however.

Review: All the kids loved the books as gifts for the holidays.
I gave them out individually as add on gifts, as I came to find out each child already had some of the sets so filled in thier collection individually.
Thank you Dr Seuss for such fun and interesting stories that have been favorites stretching accross generations of children and cultures.

Review: My 2.5 year old has been asking to learn to read and after much research, I thought the two Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collections would be a good place to start. Especially this one, with the ABC book, since he has to recognize all his letters before he can start sounding out words. We've been reading it every night for a week and he is already reciting his ABC's and able to announce which letter comes next before he sees it. Additionally, the books hold his attention, I enjoy reading them too, and the interesting mix of words, rhymes and odd stories seem like a great way to keep kids engaged. Neither of us have any issues with the quality of the books or thickness of the paper. Their the standard size, hardback versions and I'm very happy. Plus, what a great value!

Review: I sent this set to my 2-year-old grandson. This is his first time having books with paper pages instead of baby board books. I was worried he'd tear the pages, so I thought only his parents could hold the books.
But these books are very high quality, & the pages are strong. He carries these around, plops them down & turns all the pages. They don't rip!
These books are wonderful!
Of course, the stories & illustrations are the best! That's why they're classics. I loved them when I was a child too.
